Lol thts what I thought, just confused, because I thought the site just started! I would assume, then, that gdgt weekly was a podcast that started life long before this site?

Two comments though,

1) I used to listen to the podcasts directly from the web (the 'play' option), and now it is not possible anymore, I hope you will bring it back.

2) I think you can devote more time to talk about the site, but no on account of the regular topics. Maybe add another podcast?... I am sure you have a lot to tell on your experience from the last week and I am sure that many people would like to hear that. Common, share your experience...

I hope there are plans to put a direct MP3 download link in the podcast pages.

The site used to be just links to their podcast.

We've been doing the podcast since we announced we were doing this site last year.

Is there a video podcast or maybe one in the future? I'm sure you guys are kinda crazy busy these days to add such a thing but it would be nice, thanks for the great site!!

+1 to bringing the ability to download mp3 files of the podcast back. I miss the simple itunes free method.

Where is the stream? Last week I was able to listen to it on my palm pre without having to download it... Am I just blind I don't see the live stream option.

Is it just me or is the Features RSS feed broken? I haven't gotten an update on that feed since podcast number 44. The MP3 podcast feed works, though...

Thanks for the mp3 link.. I spent ~25 minutes on my palm pre this morning trying to load this podcast (the pre doesn't have a built-in rss podcast reader yet..)

Sorry if this comment is in the wrong place, I can't remember if it was the last episode or the one before it where you advertised a Blackberry giveaway...

I just wondered if anyone raised an eyebrow at the notion of having users add a device to their "want" list in order to be entered into a contest to win the same device? I understand the argument could be made that you DO want it if you are seeking to win it, but it gets dicey when think about how tampering with this number can create a false impression about the overall desirability of a device in the marketplace.

While this obviously works to RIM's advantage (and don't think they don't know it), I'm trying to understand how I would benefit from this as a user of the site, potentially a member of the community you're setting out to build.

The fact that RIM also looks deeply invested in GDGT and has been your number one sponsor and most valuable advertiser thus far doesn't help matters, because it creates the impression that because of a special relationship they are able to unlock an ability to bump and skew this number to their heart's content.

I trust you guys and have followed your work long enough to know that your advertising relationship with RIM wouldn't effect your personal views or commentary on their current or future products - but I wonder if you can see how this potentially blurs the line between editorial, user generated and promotional content on GDGT.

Do you plan on doing more of these in the future, and if so couldn't you just add a "enter to win" button that didn't skew the "want" numbers disproportionately?
